What this directory is

Klang Valley Flooring Contractor Guide is an independent directory covering 135 flooring contractor businesses across the Klang Valley, from Petaling Jaya and Subang to Shah Alam, Klang, and the KL fringes. It exists for homeowners, renovation planners, and property managers who need to shortlist a flooring contractor without wading through scattered reviews and inconsistent business listings on their own.

We are also honest about the second half of what we do. Klang Valley Flooring Contractor Guide is an independent directory and comparison resource, and we also generate enquiries for local providers: when you ask to be matched with someone, we pass your enquiry along to providers relevant to your request and may receive a referral fee for doing so. That arrangement is disclosed again on the quote page itself, and it never touches how a business is scored or ranked. Sponsorship money and referral fees sit in a completely separate lane from the rankings.

Where the listing data comes from

Every profile is built from two sources: public business information (things like address, services offered, years operating, and contact details) and a synthesis of recent Google reviews. We do not copy or republish review text. Instead we summarise the overall pattern of recent feedback and link out to the business’s Google listing so you can read the original reviews yourself.

A contractor that finds an error in its own public details, a wrong phone number, an outdated address, a service no longer offered, can ask us to correct it. What a business cannot do is edit its own score, its sentiment summary, or its position in the ranking. Those come from the data, not from the business being described.

How rankings work

Rankings are earned, not bought. They come from a published rubric applied consistently to the data we collect, and you can read the full breakdown on the methodology page. When a listing is sponsored, it is labelled “Sponsored” clearly, displayed in its own separate section, and it does not move, boost, or replace anyone’s earned ranking position.

Who is behind it

This directory is published by MY Homee Guides. The founder, Adam, spent ten years working in and around the Klang Valley home service industry before building this project. That background shaped a plain approach: ratings and rankings that are earned through merit rather than paid placement, refreshed on a monthly cycle so the picture stays current.

Editorial oversight, meaning the rubric, the scoring, and how listings are maintained, sits with Adam as Managing Editor. Each listing carries a “last verified” stamp so you can see at a glance when it was last checked, and the full dataset is refreshed every month.
